In this workshop we will be exploring the healing power of music, even if you feel you are not “musicalâ€. Students will learn how to release emotions and get to know themselves better by learning how to tune into how they are feeling physically and emotionally before, during and after listening to music. I will be sharing how I’ve used music throughout my life in order to interpret my feelings and how I see the world, and also how I have used the craft of songwriting to help me cope with the full range of emotions (anxiety) and more importantly, how students can do the same. Students will learn how to use music on a regular basis to engage and feel a release of their inner emotions.
